Advocates Needed! Are you looking to help improve other members' work lives? Consider becoming an advocate.

What does this committee do?
The committee assists and advises APSA members on their rights and entitlements (according to the AD 10 Policies) and work-related problems. The committee provides representation as observers and advisors in disputes with the University, educates APSA members about SFU policies, deals with grievances and consults with legal counsel when necessary.

Time Commitment
The committee meets twice a month. There is, however, a more significant time commitment due to advocacy training, grievance meetings and other activities.
Please note that this particular committee deals with highly sensitive and confidential issues.
